The Aprilia SR 50 Factory is equipped with a liquid-cooled 2-stroke single-cylinder Piaggio engine that delivers good acceleration and high top speeds. Thanks to the fuel injection system, it has 1 hp more than the carburetor model. As Piaggio is a pretty common engine, it is a great basis for all kinds of Aprilia SR 50 R Factory tuning. The Aprilia SR scooter has an e-starter, it has no kick starter.
Aprilia SR 50 R - Chassis
The Aprilia scooter is equipped with a hydraulic telescopic fork at the front, which effectively dampens road bumps and uneven surfaces even at high speeds. A monoshock was fitted at the rear. The front and rear wheels are fitted with 2 disc brakes, each with a diameter of 190 mm. The tire size is 130/60 x 13" at the front and 130/60 x 13" at the rear.
