Yamaha Slider - General information
The 50cc Yamaha Slider scooter came onto the market in 2000 and had a very special, slimmed-down look, as the fairing was reduced to a minimum. The small scooter was particularly popular with teenagers and young people who were looking for something special. It has the same engine as the Yamaha BWs, has no helmet compartment under the seat and is extremely light. Thanks to the widely used Minarelli engine, it is very easy to improve the performance with numerous aftermarket tuning parts.
The scooter was upgraded in 2004 and fitted with a catalytic converter. It was also offered as a Naked version, with twin headlights, two 12-inch wheels, whose rims were taken from the famous BW's Spy, and MTB handlebar, which were very popular at the time.
Of course, like many Yamaha scooters, the Yamaha Slider also has a twin model at MBK, namely the MBK Stunt.
