Elring Dirko sealing compound
Silicone Sealant Elring Dirko 70ml grey, high temperature resistant silicon-based sealing compound. The compound cures when getting into contact with air humidity and remains permanently elastic.
Dirko grey is resistant to oils, water, coolants, salt, cleaning agents and much more. Possible areas of application are manifold: crankcases, flange connections, reed valves, water and oil pumps, bodywork and lamps - almost everything can be glued, assembled and sealed with this sealing compound.

Dichtmasse
Wie der Name schon sagt, dient Dichtmasse der Abdichtung von Komponenten. Es gibt verschiedenen Marken, Zusammensetzungen, Einsatzgebiete, Farben und mehr oder weniger hitzefeste Arten.
Flüssigdichtungen und Silikon Dichtmasse sind zwar ein absolutes Must-have für jede Werkstatt, sind aber nur in bestimmten Fällen wirklich notwendig. Meistens sind sie in erster Line Pannenhilfe und ersetzen keine echte Reparatur.
Daher ist es in der Regel besser, die vorgesehenen Spezial Dichtungen zu verwenden, auch wenn Silikon und Dictmasse zusätzlich beim Abdichten helfen.
Bitte beachtet, dass Dichtmasse und Kit nicht überall eingesetzt werden kann! Sie können zum Beispiel keine Wellendichtringe oder O-Ringe ersetzen.
