High-performance ignition with an excellent price-performance ratio.
The Italkit racing ignition for pit bikes with 4-stroke engines is designed exclusively for use in competition and on closed racetracks. It has no 12 V output and therefore does not supply power for electrical accessories such as headlights, on-board electronics or electric pumps. This model was developed in collaboration with SELETTRA and is the perfect ignition for racing and ambitious tuners!

This is an analogue internal rotor ignition with fixed ignition timing, which offers high performance and a perfect balance to minimize vibrations. This ignition is ideal for tuned setups and retains its stability up to 27,000 rpm.

- Better response: Low rotor mass of only 350 g reduces the flywheel inertia allowing the engine to rev up faster.

- Efficient cooling: Integrated fan on the rear of the rotor ensures optimum heat dissipation.

Eine Innenrotorzündung ist eine Racing Zündung, die auf Leistungssteigerung ausgelegt ist. Innenrotorzündungen sind werden für Motorsport und Wettkampf entwickelt, in seltenen Fällen liefern sie auch Energie für die Fahrzeug-Beleuchtung. (z. B. die MVT Zündung).
Vorteile einer Innenrotorzündung
Innenrotorzündungen sind die ultimative Wahl für die Rennstrecke, allerdings sind sie nicht wirklich für den Straßengebrauch geeignet.
Der kompakte und leichte Innenrotor belastet die Kurbelwelle weniger und ermöglicht schnelles Hochdrehen, sehr hohe Motordrehzahlen und eine drastische Leistungssteigerung bei hohen Drehzahlen.
Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass diese Art der Zündung weniger anfällig für Feuchtigkeit ist als Standardzündungen.
Tipp: Möglicherweise solltet ihr zur besseren Kühlung einen Tuning Zündungsdeckel mit zusätzlichen Löchern / Cutouts, um die Lüftung zu verbessern.
Nachteile einer Innenrotorzündung
Die Drehzahlen steigen wegen der geringeren Masse schneller an, allerding wird dadurch das Drehmoment bei niedrigen Drehzahlen beeinträchtigt. Innenrotorzündungen lohnen sich daher nur für Renneinsätze, da man dort ständig auf hohen Motordrehzahlen bleibt.
