Engine Complete short version / 743mm drive belt / drum brake GY6 125cc 152QMI - complete engine for GY6 4-stroke scooters, for short engine. The short version has to be used with a 743mm drive belt.

If you're not sure if you have a long or short engine - it can be determined by measuring the distance between crankshaft (variator9 and input shaft / primary gear shaft (clutch bell). In this case (short version) the distance is 28cm.

The engine comes complete with all the drive parts, alternator etc. and is ready to install.

Note 1: the output shaft (the one connected to the rear wheel) on these scooters may vary. There are 2 versions: Engines with short or long shaft. Vehicles with 1 rear shock are normally equipped with short shafts, models with twin shocks with long shafts. This version comes with a long shaft, but if your vehicle requires the use of a short shaft - no problem, simply use the original (short) one.

Note 2: Always check engine and gearbox oil level after installation. We recommend replacing the rather poor oil used by Chinese manufacturers with higher quality engine oil; keep the original oil for a run-in period of about 50km, then change it. You should also check the valve play. We recommend a valve clearance of 0.08mm.
