Catalytic converter for Akrapovic exhaust systems. It is simply inserted into the connecting pipe.
The exhaust emission limits are complied with without affecting the typical Akrapovic sound or performance.

How a Cat works
The catalytic converter consists of a honeycomb-shaped metal structure with a surface coating of various precious metals (palladium, rhodium and platinum). These metals convert the toxic carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons into non-toxic carbon dioxide and water vapor.
