PHBG Carburetor

Carburetor PHBG clamp connection d=17,5mm. Classic 17,5mm PHBG carburetor that can be used for many different scooter / moped models. Excellent value for money replacement for original 17.5mm Dell'Orto PHBG carb or upgrade for smaller carburetor.

Carb settings can of course be adjusted according to your needs and set-up - via changing the main jet, pilot jet or needle and via adjusting the mixture screw. The carburetor can be used with intake manifolds with 24mm inside diameter, air filter connection is 28mm.

Using a larger carburetor is recommended if you want to get the most out of your tuned engine as it allows more air and fuel into the engine, producing more power.

Vergaser für Roller, Motorrad und Mofa

Der reibungslose Betrieb und die optimale Leistungsausbeute eures Rollers, Motorrads oder Mopeds hängt unter anderem vom Vergaser ab, dessen Job es ist, die richtige Mischung aus Luft und Benzin zu erzeugen.

Vergaser funktionsweise

Wenn der Fahrer den Gasgriff betätigt, bewegt sich der Vergaserschieber nach oben und erhöht so den Luftstrom, der durch den Luftfilter angesaugt wird. Der Vergaser mischt diese Luft dann mit Benzin, wodurch ein brennbares Gemisch entsteht. Dieses Gemisch wird durch den Ansaugstutzen und den Membranblock in den Zylinder geleitet.

Der Vergaser ist mit Düsen ausgestattet, um das Verhältnis von Benzin und Luft einzustellen und so für ein optimales Luft-Benzin-Verhältnis zu sorgen. Es ist wichtig, dass ihr die Vergasereinstellungen an das Setup eures Motors anpasst.

Vergaser Einstellen

Die richtige Einstellung des Vergasers ist entscheidend für den optimalen Betrieb und die Haltbarkeit des Motors. Je nachdem, welche Art von Luftfilter, Zylinder und Auspuff ihr verbaut habt, müsst ihr Haupt- und Nebendüsen nachjustieren. Um das korrekte Funktionieren des Vergaser zu überprüfen, könnt ihr euch an der Farbe der Zündkerze orientieren (Kerzengesicht):

Weiße Zündkerze = zu mager
Schwarze Zündkerze = zu fett
Braune Zündkerze = optimale Einstellung
