MOTUL Air Filter Clean especially for cleaning all types of foam air filters. This product offers a complete solution for the maintenance of air filters, effectively removes contaminants and ensures better filtration.
Areas of application Motul A1 Air Filter Cleaner
For foam air filters in off-road and road use. Effectively removes dust, mud, sand and oily residues. Guarantees optimum air flow.
In contrast to cleaning with petrol, the filter insert does not harden or deform as a result.
Recommendations for the use of air filter cleaner
To keep the air filter in optimum condition, pour MOTUL Air Filter Clean into a clean container. Immerse and squeeze out the filter to remove impurities. Then drain slowly and allow to dry completely. After drying, impregnate the filter with MOTUL Air Filter Oil before reassembling it. This procedure ensures optimum performance and a longer service life of the air filter.
Luftfilterreiniger
Schaumstoff Luftfilter von Motorrädern werden normalerweise mit Luftfilteröl eingefettet.
Dieses Öl ist fettig und auch leicht klebrig, so dass der Filter möglichst viel Sand und Staub filtern kann, damit diese nicht tief in den Filter eindringen können.
Außerdem wird bei Motocross und Enduro Bikes auch Fett zwischen Airbox und Luftfilter aufgetragen, um die Dichtigkeit zu gewährleisten.
Wie reinigt man einen Luftfilter?
Um einen geölten Filter zu reinigen, braucht man also einen stark fettlösenden Reiniger, der aber die Klebstoffe des Luftfilters nicht angreift.
