The 10W40 Katana Off Road motor oil from Ipone is a fully synthetic, very high quality 4-stroke lubricant for off-road use and for ambitious riders who want to get the last bit of power out of their racing machine. The focus when developing this oil was on off-road use.
Special additives are used for cleaning and optimal distribution in the engine to protect it in wet and dirty environments (off road). The oil is resistant to extreme temperatures, is therefore suitable even for hot deserts and very cold climates. The oil retains its properties and viscosity for a very long time, which means that maintenance intervals can be extended, and you can drive more kilometers until the next oil change. The Katana Off Road prevents clutch slippage, gear changes are fast and smooth.

IPONE Katana Offroad
Das Ipone Katana ist ein für sportliche Einsätze konzipiertes Motoröl. Katana Offroad wird besonders für Motocross und Enduro empfohlen, Disziplinen, die sich in vielerlei Hinsicht vom Standard Straßeneinsatz unterscheiden.
Es handelt sich um ein vollsynthetisches Öl für den Offroad Einsatz. Es wurde für optimale Fahrleistung unter typischen Offroad Bedingungen entwickelt, hält somit potentieller Überhitzung des Motors in Schlamm und Sand stand und ist auf die Besonderheiten der Einzylindermotoren, wie die typischerweise für Motocross verwendet werden, ausgelegt.
Für den täglichen Gebrauch auf der Straße könnt ihr auch ein preisgünstigeres teilsynthetisches Öl benutzen.
Tipp: In Sachen Viskosität solltet ihr euch auf die Empfehlungen des Herstellers verlassen. Allgemein gilt: Ein 10W30 Öl ist relativ vielseitig und ist hauptsächlich für mittlere Umgebungs- und Betriebstemperaturen vorgesehen. Bitte beachtet, dass 5W Öle bei Kälte dünnflüssiger sind und sich daher eher für den Winter eignen. Die Öle 15W und 20W sind weniger dünnflüssig und eignen sich daher besser für höhere Temperaturen, also warme Regionen oder/und im Sommer.
